Winter Re-reads

During winter when the rain is pouring down, the wind is sharp and chilly, while the clouds cover the sun, I love to just stay home with a book. Here are some of my most favourite books I love to re-read during winter, one because I enjoy them so much and they just make good stories to lay down with under the blankets and read the day away. Second, because they are easy reads and not too long. So here they are.

Little Women by Louisa May Alcott: One of the best stories to read during winter.  Read through the life of the four March daughters, Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy, as they experience, fun, love, death and all the while they have each other.

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte: A romance that is with is brash and eccentric characters, that is told through the stunning telling of the doom love of Catherine and Heathcliff.

Jane Austen: Okay, anything of Jane Austen I would re-read anytime.

and last but not least Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple Mysteries. I am a huge fan of Agatha Christie books but Miss Marple centered stories are my favourite by far. They are short but still full of engrossing detail of mystery and murder that anyone should love to read on a cold winters day.

So there you are. What about you any books you love to re-read during the winter?
